I'm Danielle, a registered therapeutic counsellor and ICF trained coach who supports people through periods of transition, uncertainty, and unhealed wounds — helping them move toward clarity, confidence, and a new narrative for themselves.

My practice comes from a space of curiosity, understanding and collaboration. I show up as an empathetic, compassionate and motivated woman who meets folks where they are at. I've been described as a calm, warm safe space — and when the time calls for it, laughter and humour are also such good medicine. When I say I will show up, I do. My clients can count on my integrity.

My passion for this work didn't begin in a classroom — it began in life. As a full time working single mother with a deep passion for acts of service, I volunteered for various helping positions. It was during my time volunteering at Battered Women's Support Services that I felt an undeniable calling to counselling. I knew at that moment I had to pursue the next steps. Before this was a business, this was a calling — and when I am working in a supportive role, I feel I am living my purpose.

My Approach

Rooted in Narrative Therapy, this work begins with honouring your story, your voice, and your lived experience as the foundation of healing. Alongside this, a range of evidence-based modalities are woven in to meet each client's unique needs:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviours

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) — building skills around emotional regulation and distress tolerance

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) — a somatic approach to releasing emotional blocks held in the body

  • Gottman Couples Therapy — a research-based framework for rebuilding connection and communication in relationships
